Getting here

Welcome to St Andrew’s Bramfield

Jesus said: 'I came that they may have life and have it abundantly' (John 10:10)

We come together to share our life journey with God, to become the people we are meant to be. We want to give thanks to God, know more of His love and serve our community.

Brother, sister, let me serve you;
let me be as Christ to you;
pray that I may have the grace to
let you be my servant too.

We are pilgrims on a journey,
and companions on the road;
we are here to help each other
walk the mile and bear the load.

We welcome people of every age and stage of faith.  Join us on 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays at 11.15am, 2nd Sunday 9.30am sung service, Wednesday mornings at 10 am and at other times as detailed in the Services and Events section of this website. We have activity folders and a special children’s corner.

Our beautiful and historic church was the first Living of Thomas a Becket and after his murder in 1170, the village became a place of pilgrimage.... it is a special place to mark the important events of our lives: baptisms (christenings), thanksgivings, weddings, renewals of vows and funerals as well as sharing our hopes and fears with God in weekly worship.

We are part of the Diocese of St Albans, click under Pages and Links opposite for information and events. We share its vision of ‘Going deeper into God, Making new disciples and Transforming communities’. We have adopted the Diocese's Safeguarding policies and practice.
