We as a benefice are committed to protecting children and vulnerable adults from harm, abuse and neglect. We are therefore committed to ensuring all are aware of the issues around safeguarding within the church. We do this through:
- Training and raising awareness
- Safer recruitment, including of volunteers
- Adoption and application of safeguarding policies and best practice guidelines and procedures
- Proportionate and timely response to allegations and concerns
