THANK YOU to the ministry team, churchwardens, treasurers, secretaries and PCC’s of our churches and to everyone who helps maintain the churchyards and buildings and all who help our Beane Valley Benefices churches during the vacancy.
We pray for our government and our nation Bless all who are called to government and opposition Guide and guard them in their public service Fill them with integrity, wisdom and understanding That they may lead us in the ways of justice and peace, And bring relief to those who suffer that all people may flourish. Amen.
Prayer for the peace of the world O God, who would fold both heaven and earth in a single peace; that the design of your great love lighten upon the waste of our wraths and sorrows and give peace to your church, peace among nations, peace in our dwellings and peace in our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We pray for our Benefice churches of Aston, Bramfield, Stapleford, Waterford and Watton-at-stone during the vacancy.
NEW RECTOR RECRUITMENT UPDATE – Sadly it was not possible to appoint a new Rector to the Benefice following our initial advertisement which closed at the end of October. A second recruitment drive will take place early in 2026 supported, as before, by the Diocese. In the meantime, services in each of our churches continue so please JOIN US this Christmastime to celebrate the Festive Season!Newsletter attached.
