Although we are currently without a permanent Rector, services in the Benefice continue with the assistance of visiting clergy. Please do join us – you will be made very Welcome. The post will continue to be advertised and further updates will be featured in the newsletter.
THANK YOU to the ministry team, churchwardens, treasurers, secretaries and PCC’s of our churches and to everyone who helps maintain the churchyards and buildings and all who help our Beane Valley Benefices churches during the vacancy.
We pray for our government and our nation Bless all who are called to government and opposition Guide and guard them in their public service Fill them with integrity, wisdom and understanding That they may lead us in the ways of justice and peace, And bring relief to those who suffer that all people may flourish. Amen.
Prayer for the peace of the world O God, who would fold both heaven and earth in a single peace; that the design of your great love lighten upon the waste of our wraths and sorrows and give peace to your church, peace among nations, peace in our dwellings and peace in our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord. NEW RECTOR RECRUITMENT UPDATE – Beane Valley Benefice Vacancy. Message from Kate Casey PA to the Archdeacon of Hertford. Following the closing date, 8th September, I am saddened to say that again unfortunately, we haven’t received any applications for the post this time. I am very aware how disappointing this news will be to you all again and how much additional work it gives to Churchwardens and other members of the benefice. Bishop Jane and Archdeacon Janet have discussed whether there is anyone that they can commend to you who is looking for a move; however, they don’t have a suitable candidate to offer at present. Of course, if this changes, we will be in touch with you.
