Traditional Anglo-Catholic parish with a friendly and welcoming congregation of all ages. S. Helen's is a wonderful medieval building. Children and young families are welcome and we provide a creche and children's club every week. We have a small and committed choir who practice each week and are always looking out for new members. The New English Hymnal is used and an anthem sung each week. A full liturgical calendar is observed, along with a daily mass and offices.
One of our strenths is a full and active social life and good pastoral care of our people.Our Beavers,Cubs and Scounts have a good membership and active progammes.Jolly Tots is our weekly mothers and tots group and Messy Church meets the third Saturday of each month at 11.30am The elderly enjoy lunch clubs and weekly bingo sessions. The Parish is a member of Forward in Faith and is staffed by priests of The Society and The Society of the Holy Cross (SSC). Follow us on FaceBook.
