Church of England Diocese of Portsmouth Ryde

About Us

A magnificent landmark church, sometimes referred to as the "cathedral" of the Island, overlooking the Solent, built to a decorated gothic design by Sir Gilbert Scott in the 1870s. Strong tradition, with dignified liturgy. Occasional incense. A splendid "Father Willis" organ, and a ring of eight bells. Here, the traditional faith of the Church of England is celebrated with confidence and joy.
