The Bereavement Journey is a 6-week course, facilitated by Churches in the Carlisle area using national bereavement care resources for all who have been bereaved (thebereavementjourney.org) A winter course will be run in person on Wednesday lunchtimes starting on 11th January 2023. Another repeat course in 2023 is hoped to be run in person in the Carlisle area or online using Zoom.
THE BEREAVEMENT JOURNEY is a space to learn more about how bereavement affects us, listen to others in their grief, and make connections with our own. We aim to feel comfortable with people who have their own experience of grief and can support you in yours.
The initial 5 sessions are set out for all faiths and none, with a 6th optional session exploring a Christian response to bereavement.
