Church of England Diocese of Hereford Holmer with Huntington

About Us

Holmer Parish Church (St Bartholomew’s) is a warm and welcoming church that has been part of the local community for over 800 years. It stands on the A49 (North) leaving Hereford.

Holmer Parish Church has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. Our aim is to show Jesus Christ to those around us.

We have Sunday Clubs during our 11am service for children aged 2-18yrs, with a supervised creche for the under 2’s. Once a month we meet in the Church Centre for an all-age interactive service.

We have a wide variety of events at the church outside of our services: Holmer Bible Club (6-11yrs), Church ‘n’ Chips, Alpha Courses, 3xParent & Toddler Groups, Over 60’s Lunches, Prayer meetings, Family Fun events, and more.

We believe in our Church being a Family, so we love to develop our fellowship and share our walk with Jesus together. Several Home Groups meet weekly or fortnightly to share faith (Bible Study), fellowship and fun with each other.

Holmer Parish Church is a beautiful, grade 1 listed, medieval building with level access, wheelchair space, a 'loop' system, baby changing facilities & toilets for the disabled.

Services are projected on a screen and we also have large print Service booklets and Mission Praise hymnbooks.

Our Church Centre is available to hire. Please contact the Church Office for more information on this.
