We have been having Eucharist with just bread, but we are now having a choice of just bread, or intinction. The person presiding will intinct the bread and give it to you, after cleaning and sanitising their hands, if that is what you choose. At the end, the person presiding will drink the remainder of the blessed wine, as normal. This is to make sure there is no chance of any germs passing.
Sanitiser is on the table as you come in, if you would like to use it. Also, if you don't feel confident joining us in church, the other church in our benefice, Thornhill parish church, is doing a live streaming service which you can join on Facebook. Just search Thornhill Parish Church facebook and you can join in the worship. If you would like the prayers and information emailing to you, please email [email protected] .com and you will be added to the list of worshippers who receive the weekly prayers which will be used with the streamed services.
