Church of England Diocese of Newcastle Falstone with Greystead and Thorneyburn

Falstone: St Peter's

LATEST: It is with great sadness to say the crib service on Christmas Eve has had to be cancelled due increasing covid cases in North Tyne and today’s government restrictions - we are still decorating St. Peter’s and it is open for private prayer plus we have the prayer tree at the gate- we have gifts for the Children from Messy Church which will still be delivered.

Our church building is open for private prayer at any time. For any support you need please contact our Church Warden. Prayer requests can be left in the prayer book in Church. For latest information on services follow us on Facebook NORTH TYNE CHURCHES and on Twitter @StPetersNE48. To help us during this time here are some prayers suggested by the Church of England:

The parish of Falstone with Greystead & Thorneyburn is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
