Church of England Diocese of Guildford Albury

Albury: St Peter & St Paul

We are a lively and welcoming church in the heart of the Surrey Hills, part of the Diocese of Guildford and the United Benefice of Shere, Albury and Chilworth.

Whatever your age or background, whether you live here or visit, join us to find out about the message of Jesus. What does it mean for life’s journey? If you meet us, we hope you discover not just people who go to church, but friends who want to support each other and serve the world God loves, for which Jesus died and rose again. We value people of all ages and children are catered for at all our services.

Our parish extends from Newlands Corner to the edge of Winterfold Forest. We have two active church buildings and a lot of history!

The parish of Albury is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Sarah Stevens. The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA or PSO. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

We are livestreaming worship every Sunday at 9.30 for around forty minutes. Everybody is welcome and the Zoom link can be found on, on the welcome page, before each service. Recordings are also available on the 'Service Videos' tab on the website, usually the same day. The style is structured but informal.
