St. Augustine’s Aldershot is the parish church for North Town. Standing within the catholic tradition of the Church of England, St. Augustine’s mission is ‘to bring people to a personal love and knowledge of Jesus Christ through its sacramental life and daily witness.’ The life of the faith community is centred on the Mass or Eucharist and as part of the Diocese of Guildford our church is committed to grow in numbers, grow in spiritual maturity and grow in community engagement.

Built in 1907, the church is set in its own grounds with attractive gardens, a large hall complex and has toilet facilities and disabled access there is also onsite parking.

The church, described as a Hampshire treasure, is beautifully proportioned and light and airy with a simple elegance, which makes it an ideal venue for weddings and other family occasions. We seek to be an inclusive church and people of all ages worship at St. Augustine’s, new comers find   the congregation is warm and welcoming.

St. Augustine’s not only seeks to serve people’s pastoral and spiritual needs, but through the ministry of the church has always tried to consider people’s social wellbeing too. The church has always been very much involved in the life of the local community and the church hall has served, and still serves, as the location for many local activities.

You are very welcome to join us for worship either on a Sunday or at one of our services or activities during the week.
