From Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August the Vicar will lead Ignatian Prayer sessions in the church at 12.00 noon. These are times of quiet and reflection, lasting about an hour. Do come.
We shall learn more about prayer, using materials produced by Sycamore, in weekly sessions from 7.00pm-8.00pm on Thursdays in July and August. This will now (from Thursday 9th July) be held in the church and we'll end with a service of Compline. Everyone is welcome - no expertise needed.
In our quiet prayer area by the stand for the candles you will find a Tree of Light. You are welcome to write your prayer on one of the 'leaves' you will find nearby and hang it on the tree. You may also wish to light a candle.
On the first Friday of each month the prayers from the Tree are offered to God in a short service in the Lady Chapel which everyone is welcome to join.
The 8.00am Service of Holy Communion takes place on the first two Sundays of the month, using the Book of Common Prayer on the first Sunday and Common Worship on the second. This is a short service, with no hymns, but quiet and prayerful. (No 8.00am service on 9th November.)

A said service of Holy Communion takes place every Wednesday at 10.00am, and everyone is welcome. Ths is a quiet but friendly service, lasting about 30-35 minutes.
This time of silence, readings, prayer and music is held on the second Wednesday of the month and is an opportunity to focus our prayers and thoughts on the peace of the world. Come for the whole half-hour or just a few minutes.
Services in the contemplative style of Taizé, with readings and prayer deepened by repetitive singing/chanting of simple texts and accompanied by simple instrumental music, will be held at 4.00pm on the 5th Sunday of the month. Do come.

From 10.00am on Saturday 12th September All Saints' is holding an Open Day for visitors interested in the history of the church, its stained-glass windows, memorials and more. Talks, displays, activities for children, a churchyard tour - come and enjoy. It's all free.
