Thanksgiving Service for the Departed

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Luke's Church, Grayshott
Address
Headley Road Grayshott, GU26 6LF, United Kingdom

On Sunday 25th October we are having our annual service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving for the lives of loved ones who have died and who are dear and important – to God and to us.

It will be a time when we remember all those who have gone through, or are going through, the sadness of bereavement.

During the service we shall remember by name all those who have died during the past year and members of the congregation will be invited to light a candle in memory of their loved ones.

We'd like to extend an invite for you and your family to join us for tea and cake at 4pm and stay for the service which will then commence at 5.00pm.

Please do let us know whether you and your family would like to take part in any way, including if you wish us to remember your loved one by name. Please click here to confirm details with us https://stlukeschurchgrayshott.churchsuite.com/events/beq4twvo.

Our parish of Grayshott is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Penny Thomas or Hilary Loder or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
