SUPPORT THE WORK OF ST MARY OATLANDS

CORONAVIRUS AND ITS EFFECT ON OUR INCOME

Like most charitable organisations, St Mary Oatlands has already and will continue to, lose income as a result of it having to be closed during the current crisis. For example, we are unable to continue letting out our hall and meeting rooms and, as a result, we expect that we will lose the income of around £2,500 per month. Additionally, because we are unable to hold services of any kind, there will be a shortfall in collections of approximately £1,500 per month and, of course, fundraising events which have been planned have had to be cancelled. We have, of course, looked at our expenditure and implemented reductions wherever possible, but most of this is fixed and, therefore, has to be paid, whether we are “open for business”, or not. Our Parishioners and the community at large in Oatlands were extremely generous to us last year when we were unfortunate enough to suffer several attacks of vandalism and we are hoping that people will be similarly generous once more, as we will definitely be opening our doors again, to serve our community, as soon as we have the authorisation to do so. However, to be able to do this. We need your help. If you are able to help in any way. Please follow this link to our stewardship page for various ways to help. https://www.oatlandschurch.org.uk/stewardship/.We will be truly grateful for any help received.
