The Parish of Walton-on-Thames, a Christian community in a lively town in North Surrey, alongside the River Thames, in the Anglican Diocese of Guildford. We have two church buildings serving our one parish family:

-St Mary’s in Church Street, which is the ancient parish church

-St John’s in The Furrows, which has been a dedicated place of worship since 1953

Walton Parish is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of the children within our church community. We are also committed to providing an environment where all people, especially those who may be vulnerable are able to worship and pursue their faith journey with encouragement and in safety.

The PCC has adopted the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policy Statement together with the supporting safeguarding policies and practice guidance.
