A quiet said celebration of the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
A weekly celebration of the Sacrament of the Eucharist, sung with robed choir and organ.
Sunday School (not the second Sunday of each month) for children takes place in the Parish Centre, meeting in the small hall at 10am for those aged 4 - 15 years old. The children then join us just before the Distribution of Holy Communion.
Refreshments available in the Parish Centre following the service.
We meet every Monday of term-time in St James' Church, Weybridge. This is a carer/parent stays with child group! We can't wait to see you. Cost just £2 per child. This is a parent/guardian remains with child group.
We don't meet on Monday's during School Holidays
All welcome to this simple said service every Wednesday ay 11am, followed by refreshments at the back of church in our café area.
A simple service of songs, prayers and children's craft lasting 30 minutes.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to Church on Mothering Sunday.
At 8am we hold a quiet, contemplative Said Eucharist in All Souls Chapel.
At 10am we are holding a very special All-Age Service– with Junior Church held in All Souls Chapel, with children fully participating in the celebration. There will also be flowers handed out for mums and carers.
At St James' Church we recognise that Mothering Sunday can be a difficult day for many reasons, so special prayer cards will be available for those who wish to leave a prayer and light a candle. Also, flowers will be offered in memorial too. Do bring hard-stem flowers with you to place with love in a vase in Remembrance.
We meet monthly on the 3rd Sunday at 4pm in the small hall, St James' Parish Centre. We hear about a bible story then have an hour to build it out of Lego. We then visit each table to at each other's creations, before clear away time and then food is served, a simple meal with pudding (please do let us know of any specific dietary requirements in advance!) 9.15am Morning Prayer, (11am Service at Guildford Cathedral),
8pm Sung Liturgy of Maundy Thursday
with Choir, washing of feet, homily and communion, followed by a Watch of Prayer in All Souls Chapel until midnight.
GOOD FRIDAY 3rd April
9.15am Morning Prayer, 10am Walk of Witness through Weybridge, starting at Christ the Prince of Peace Church.
11-12:30 Children’s Workshop in the Parish Centre – “A lot can happen in 3 days!” (No charge – a parent stays with children activity),
1pm Traditional Liturgy of Good Friday with veneration of the Cross and communion.
HOLY SATURDAY 4th April
9.15am Morning Prayer,
8pm Sung Festival Easter Vigil Service with fire, candles, renewal of Baptism promises, prayers, hymns, and Communion
followed by a Bring & Share Wine and Cheese party at the back of Church – a joyful Easter celebration!
EASTER SUNDAY 5th April
8am Said Eucharist,
10am Sung Festival Eucharist with Junior Church (including Easter garden making and an Easter Egg hunt)
11am refreshments in the Parish Centre.
Good Friday Children's Activities / Workshop - held in the Parish Centre from 11-12.30 - Children’s activities, crafts, songs and hot cross buns. Aimed primarily at those aged 4 - 11 years old, but we can accommodate younger ones too. (This is a parent remains with their children activity).
