Mothering Sunday - 15th March 2026

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Church on Mothering Sunday.
At 8am we hold a quiet, contemplative Said Eucharist in All Souls Chapel.
At 10am we are holding a very special All-Age Service– with Junior Church held in All Souls Chapel, with children fully participating in the celebration. There will also be flowers handed out for mums and carers.
At St James' Church we recognise that Mothering Sunday can be a difficult day for many reasons, so special prayer cards will be available for those who wish to leave a prayer and light a candle. Also, flowers will be offered in memorial too. Do bring hard-stem flowers with you to place with love in a vase in Remembrance.

In February 2017 the House of Bishops approved a set of safeguarding commitments for implementation in dioceses and parishes.
