This guided walk starts with breakfast at the ancient church of St Cuthbert's, Elsdon at 9am. The Trail winds its way through the beautiful landscape of Redesdale, via Smoutel Ford, and up to St Cuthbert's, Corsenside for a packed lunch. After taking in the breathtaking views, we drop down to West Woodburn and then on to Cuddy's Well in Bellingham and a well deserved afternoon tea.

During the walk, we will learn about the life of St Cuthbert as we walk through some of the most beautiful scenery in Northumberland.

Most of this 15 mile walk (18 miles if stepping stones at the Ford are not passable) is on paths and roads, but one section is over wet and challenging grassland. Walking boots and wet weather gear are essential. Please bring a packed lunch.

Transport to the start of the walk may available on request. Just walking the morning or afternoon is also a possibility.
