Sunday 23rd August: Jesus teaches us that: "wherever two or three followers are gathered together in my Name, there I am present in the midst of them all" [Matthew 18:20]. And a healthy number of all ages gathered together at Cafe Church at 11.00am in Taize-Aizie on Sunday 23rd August. I was so impressed with the impact of this Cafe Church encounter: it was unstuffy, genuine, and a true coming-together of "two or three" needy, expectant people. We were all there at Taize-Aizie to experience the Saviour's love, presence, and welcome. What a fabulous expression of exactly what church (Christ's Body) is called to be: God's people being assembled, recognised and strengthened together in the Spirit's power. Truly "Hallow-ed be your Name"! 24.8.2026 Noel Tredinnick

Taking place in the Salle des Fêtes in Taizé-Aizie, is a fresh informal style of worship. This new service is often called Café Church. We gather around tables where coffee and refreshments are shared, music is central, and faith is explored in a way that feels real, gentle and accessible. Each service includes: music that lifts the heart; a short, thoughtful talk connecting faith with everyday life; time for conversation and reflection around the tables; refreshments shared as part of worship. If you’ve ever thought “church isn’t really for people like me” - this may be the space you’ve been waiting for.
