When editor Susan Ryeland is given the manuscript of Alan Conway’s latest novel, she has no reason to think it will be much different from any of his others. Yes, there are dead bodies and a host of intriguing suspects, but the more Susan reads, the more she’s convinced that this book within a book contains another story hidden in its pages: one of real-life jealousy, greed, ruthless ambition, and murder.

Masterful, clever, and relentlessly suspenseful, Magpie Murders is a deviously dark take on vintage English crime fiction in which the reader becomes the detective.

Evening Prayer on Fridays is followed by a Bible Study from 6.30-7.30pm. Please check at during holiday periods to make sure that the service is being held that week.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry group meets again in Hürtgenwald on Saturday 2 May from 10am to 4pm.
This powerful ecumenical ministry and spiritual practice reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy.
Prayer shawl ministry groups can be found all over the world. They knit or crochet shawls to console those who are grieving, comfort those who are ill, and bring hope to those in despair. Shawls may also be made to celebrate life and its milestones.
Many blessings are prayed into every stitch.

Our annual meeting, where we receive reports, elect members to the Chaplaincy Council, and look ahead to the coming year. The meeting will be immediately followed by a brief meeting of the Chaplaincy Council.
