The celebration took place in the parish centre for Stavanger Cathedral and St Petri Church and we were delighted that the Bishop of Stavanger, Anne Lise Ådnøy, was able to share the occasion with us and welcome Revd Martin and bring greetings from the Church of Norway.

Representatives of the Stavanger Congregation and from around the Anglican Chaplaincy in Norway presented symbols of Christian ministry and witness as they extended their warm welcome, which continued in the splendid home-made cakes prepared for sharing over church coffee.
