Did you know that the Norwegian state supports all belief communities in Norway? It does this via an annual financial contribution for each adult and child who has a Norwegian ID (fødselsnummer) and is registered as a member of a belief community (tros-og livssynssamfunn).If you appreciate the English language ministry we offer, and if you have a Norwegian national ID (fødselsnummer) please consider joining the membership list of the Anglican Chaplaincy in Norway. This helps the annual contribution we receive from the Norwegian state without additional cost to you. Are you considering Confirmation in 2026? We plan to run preparations sessions for young people aged 14-16, and sessions for adults, beginning in January 2026 with the Confirmation in May (date tbc).
