Anyone living in Norway with an 11-digit personal number (fødselsnummer) is entitled to register in one group and parents can register children under 16 years. Personal data is treated confidentially.A mechanism has recently been created whereby individuals can check whether they are already registered in any group at the link https://www.brreg.no/ .
