Welcome to the Anglican congregation in Stavanger.  We are a lively congregation from many countries and cultures.  We worship at 10.30 each Sunday, usually at St Petri Church, the “red church “ in the centre of Stavanger (Nytorget 2, 4013 Stavanger).  We are part of the Anglican Chaplaincy in Norway and also have close connections with the Church of Norway under the Porvoo Agreement as well as with other English-speaking churches locally.  Annually, we hold an ecumenical Good Friday service, and a 9 Lessons & Carol service, usually in Stavanger Cathedral, the Domkirke. We also regularly collaborate with the other local English-speaking churches to provide a week-long Vacation Bible School programme for children during the summer.
