Thursdays: 10am-4pm A Quiet Day for Prayer & Study in the church and garden. Bible study group from 2pm (variable, please contact chaplain for current details) all welcome.

We try to make Holy Trinity Church a centre of life for the English speaking community here, whether resident or visiting. One opportunity for this is at our regular coffee mornings held on Saturdays in the library of the Parsonage from 10.30 am onwards.

Our Sunday morning Parish Communion is the main service of the week and is attended by the largest congregation, so we pull out the stops - literally! This is the one service of the week where our resident organist, Dr Melvin Bird, performs his wonders often playing specially commissioned music he has composed himself - we are extremely fortunate to have a man of his skill and dedication on the Island.

We have a stall which may provide for your extra needs, be they books to read, jams, marmalades and chutneys to brighten your mealtimes, handmade greetings cards for all occasions, stops to keep your doors from slamming or pens to take notes with; an artist in residence displaying his work (commissions undertaken); and a reception (on the lawn weather permitting )where we invite you to sample two of the specialities of the island: a glass of Madeira wine or a slice of bolo de mel, the delicious honey cake, or simply to have a cup of coffee/tea/soft drink and a chat. We make a small charge for the reception.

A professional group of instrumentalists with vocal accompaniment, play a selection of popular classics and songs from the shows, directed from the piano by music director Andras Hennel

On Tuesday afternoons between 1pm and 4pm in the Old Library. Bring along your own ideas or make use of the subject matter provided. No previous experience required. have fun in a friendly and informal and supportive atmosphere.

Held in the Lady Chapel. Coffee/tea served afterwards in the parish rooms (no charge)

On Wednesday afternoons in The Old Library we will be open for social time for a chat with tea and cakes being served. Everyone is welcome, local people and visitors alike. Please do come along. There will be no charge.
