Anglican liturgy is followed for all services.

A small choir leads hymn singing and performs anthems and carols on special occasions.

St James is on the route to Santiago de Compostela. Pilgrimages are organized and any pilgrims attending Sunday Eucharist are invited to make them selves known to the chaplain before the service, so that they can receive a blessing.
