On 23rd November, the Feast of Christ the King, the Malaga Chaplaincy launched its End of Year Appeal to raise money to renovate and upgrade the Chaplain’s flat.

The past few years have been financially difficult for the Chaplaincy, which has meant that it was impossible to make the kinds of investment in the flat – which was gifted to the church in a legacy some years ago – that we would have liked. As of this year the church’s finances are on a more secure footing and the time is now right to upgrade and decorate the flat. Unfortunately the renovation was not included in our 2025 budget, but the need has become more pressing as the year has unfolded.

So we are launching an End of Year Appeal for €10,000 to upgrade furnishings, carpentry, electrics, painting/decor, and windows. The picture above shows some of the problem areas.
