Yes, Campestre Arts is here again, coming back for a fourth year! Thank you to everyone from the Salinas who has supproted the Festival in the past! From humble beginnings at Fr Hilary´s cortijo, Casa Campestre, in the village of Fuente del Conde, it has expanded significantly and will take place this year in the beautiful Caserío de Iznájar hotel. Festival, 15th to 18th September.
The festival, which will run each day from 7.30pm – 11pm, supports the charity Age in Spain – the first national charity in Spain dedicated to the welfare of English-speaking older people. More details here.
Campestre Arts can best be described as a pop-up art gallery, displaying paintings, sculptures and ceramics by local artists. There is an opportunity to buy their works and a percentage of sales goes to Age in Spain. This year we will be joined by artist in residence, contemporary artist and former Malaga resident, John Schonert. Further details at the Festival website here.
Something a little different for this year. As we all know, many of the sales are made on the first night. As a result, this year entry for the first night is by ticket, at €10. But, it is worth your while - as well as entry, you get a welcome drink, canapes, live music and entry to the raffle! Please book your ticket here.
