About Us

Christ Church, Kiev opened on Easter Day 1999 to provide an English speaking Anglican community in Kiev. From a small beginning, it has grown into a welcoming and thriving church. We have many members from the USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, Canada, India  and around the world. You are welcome to come along and worship God with us. New friendships are formed as we worship God and seek to serve our Lord together.

We meet at 3:00 on Sunday afternoons at St. Katherine's Church, Luteranska 22, up the hill behind Khreshatik metro station.

Christ Church Kiev was supported by the Intercontinental Church Society. ICS is a Church of England mission agency which seeks to make known the Christ of the scriptures to people of any nationality who speak English. For more information go to http://www.ics-uk.org

Christ Church Kiev also belongs to the Diocese in Europe, within the Church of England. The diocese has over 270 congregations throughout Europe, Morocco, Turkey and the whole of the former Soviet Union. http://www.europe.anglican.org

The parishioners maintain a Facebook.com  for local postings. It includes a street map segment showing exactly how to find us in Kiev.
