Communion Service led by Rev Kim Taplin

In this parable, Jesus compares the kingdom of heaven to a king who prepares a wedding banquet for his son. The king sends servants to invite the originally invited guests, but they refuse to come, some even mistreating and killing the servants. In response, the king destroys those murderers and burns their city. He then instructs his servants to invite anyone they can find, both good and bad, filling the wedding hall. However, a man without a wedding garment is cast out, and Jesus concludes, “For many are invited, but few are chosen”.
