In 2026 the World will make 800 years since the death of St Francis of Assisi, a man whose life still shines with simplicity, peace and joy. Today our world faces deep divisions - fear between people and faiths, inequality between rich and poor, violence and war and a growing wound to the earth itself. Yet the story of Francis offers a different path, a way of penitence (turning back to love), peace, reconciliation and hope. His life reminds us that change begins not with power, but with humility, kindness and courage to start again.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Christ Church, either at our services or concerts or events.

The parish of Great Malvern: Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Worcester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
