About Us

St John the Evangelist is a warm, welcoming & vibrant Church of England Parish Church in the South of Cambridge.

Sunday worship includes 10am Parish Communion, except the first Sunday, when it is All Age. 
<span style="font-size: 1rem;">On the 2</span>^nd<span style="font-size: 1rem;"> and 4</span>^th<span style="font-size: 1rem;"> Sundays we offer Children’s Church. </span>

We also have a 6pm service of Choral Evensong on Sundays, except the first Sunday, when it is Holy Communion. 

Mid-week we have services of Morning Prayer, Monday to Thursday at 9am (Tuesday and Thursday on Zoom); Wednesday 10am Holy Communion; and we offer a wide range of Home Groups. 

In term-time the students from Homerton College, Cambridge, also sing a special Choral Evensong on Tuesdays at 6.30pm - all are welcome to attend.
