Today is the First Sunday of Advent when we turn and face towards Christmas as well as contemplate the ending of all time. Each Sunday we will light a candle on the Advent Wreath each with a special theme - first Sunday is the Patriarchs of the Old Testament; second Sunday is the Prophets; third Sunday is John the Baptist and the fourth Sunday is for Mary the mother of Jesus. Then on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day we light a white candle in the centre of the wreath to remember Christ the light of the world born on Christmas Day.

We meet as the Mission Community.
