About Us

St Clare’s is part of the ancient alms houses at Livery Dole. Though not owned by Heavitree parish, its foundation documents stipulate that there must be an act of Christian worship there each week. We therefore have our Thursday morning Mass there each week at 10.30am.

St Clare’s dates from the 15th century and retains its sense of history. It is a remarkable building in which to worship.
