About Us

We are a welcoming church worshipping in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England. We look forward to welcoming you.

Our main Sunday service is Sung Mass at 11am, with servers, a fine choir, pipe organ & incense. Our music is traditional including Hymns & Plainsong sung by all, and a Mass setting & Communion Motet from the choir's extensive repertoire.

Our liturgy may be formal, but the small (30-40) congregation & choir are friendly and enjoy refreshments after the service. We are a diverse church, welcoming all. Sermons are short and linked to the Lectionary readings.

Wheelchair access to the Grade 1 Listed building is via a movable ramp at the West Doors.

Peregrine Falcons have nested on the spire of St Michael's for some 20 years.
