St Thomas

St Thomas Parish Church serves a large area west of the River Exe in Exeter. It serves a wide area including Haven Banks, part of the Marsh Barton Industrial Estate and as far as Barley Lane and Redhills. It includes all the area formally served by Emmanuel Church in Okehampton Road, which is now closed.

We are an inclusive Anglican Church in the Catholic Tradition on the West side of the River Exe in Exeter. You are very welcome to join us at any of our services and events. Please see the What’s On panel below and click ‘See all’ for the services and the diary.

The parish of Exeter: St Thomas is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

If you have a concern about the safety of someone or the actions of someone working with children or vulnerable adults, please speak to someone:
