Axmouth Church

Welcome to Axmouth Church!

Despite all the pandemic precautions we are being your church as best we can in a number of different ways. We meet for services on Sunday mornings as well as socially and for study during the week. We do this in the church building or adjacent hall when we can; online or by telephone when we can't.

Please browse this site for a flavour of all this - or get fuller details from our website

Axmouth Parochial Church Council is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. For help, please see our website.

When there are no pandemic restrictions*, we meet in Axmouth Church at 10 o'clock on Sunday mornings.
You will find the worship intimate, warm and friendly and the service theme is Bible-based.
Our service includes Holy Communion twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, celebrated by the Revd Clive Sedgewick (rector), Revd Nicky Davies (vicar), Revd Terry Barratt or other clergy in the team.
When we can, we also live stream the service for those who cannot attend.
We warmly invite you to stay and chat after the service but during the pandemic precautions this has to be outside on the church green.
*When we are not able to open the church for a service, we provide an opportunity to gather online. Details will always be posted on the church website

Our church website is updated weekly with all the latest information on us.
