In normal times, this group meets every Friday morning in church at 9.30 for no more than an hour. This is an informal quiet time for those who would like prayer support for anything at all, or would like to learn more about the Bible’s answers to the realities of present-day life. Anyone can come and you will be most welcome.
Wednesday Get-Together (suspended during pandemic precautions)
This is for community and visitors alike. In normal times, it’s held in the Village Hall, next to the Church, on Wednesday mornings from 10-12. You can expect a warm welcome, free tea/coffee and biscuits and a chance to sit down and chat, meet friends old and new, do our weekly quiz, have a go at the jigsaw puzzle, read the local paper or whatever you feel like doing. It’s run by a team of volunteers from Axmouth Church and the Village Community. Anyone is welcome, all ages are catered for and there is no charge. You can make a small contribution if you like but that’s entirely up to you.
Sunday Morning Worship
Every First, Second, Third, Fourth Sunday at 10 a.m. for 1hr
When there are no pandemic restrictions*, we meet in Axmouth Church at 10 o'clock on Sunday mornings. You will find the worship intimate, warm and friendly and the service theme is Bible-based. Our service includes Holy Communion twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, celebrated by the Revd Clive Sedgewick (rector), Revd Nicky Davies (vicar), Revd Terry Barratt or other clergy in the team. When we can, we also live stream the service for those who cannot attend. We warmly invite you to stay and chat after the service but during the pandemic precautions this has to be outside on the church green. *When we are not able to open the church for a service, we provide an opportunity to gather online. Details will always be posted on the church website http://axmouthcommunity.org
