This Service of the Word (a worship service from Common Worship without Holy Communion) will be led by a Licensed Lay Minister (Reader) or lay members of the congregation. There will be some liturgy, hymns and worship songs, a Bible reading and a reflective talk on that (or sermon) and prayers. Everyone is very welcome. There are some toys and books for children to play with on the carpeted area at the back of the church, or back in the pew with their family. at any point.

There will be liturgy (Common Worship Order 1), a Bible reading, hymns to sing, a reflective talk and prayers, as well as the administration of Holy Communion. You are advised to wear a face covering when walking to your pew and to keep a distance from others in the church for everyone's safety.
Morning Worship outdoors
Tipton Community Hall (back garden)

This lay-led service of informal worship will take place in the back garden of the village hall (or indoors if weather inclement). There will be hymns to sing, prayers, a Bible reading and reflective talk. Do stay for a chat afterwards!
Church coffee morning

Next to the school on the main street in Tipton St. John
Come and have a cup of coffee and a chat with friends, old and new! There should be baked goods and possibly other produce to buy, too - especially if you bring something with you!
Family Communion service

This less formal service of Holy Communion will follow Order 1 in Common Worship liturgy, with hymns sung by a robed choir, Bible readings, a sermon reflecting on the readings and prayers. There is a carpeted area at the back of the church with toys and books for younger children to play with their, or at their seats in the pews. All are very welcome.
