All are welcome to attend this worship service and to come to the rail for a blessing if they don't want to take Communion. Gluten free wafers are available on request. There will be hymns to sing, Bible readings, a sermon, liturgy (Order One, Common Worship) and prayers. There is a carpeted area near the font where children can play with books and toys, or they can bring them back to their pew to play with there if they would prefer. Children and families are very welcome in our church! Do stay for coffee and a chat afterwards!

Arrive to coffee, pastries and chat at tables, with craft activities for all age groups. At 11 am there is informal worship, with a few hymns to sing, some particularly suitable for children, a Bible reading, a reflection and activity for all and some prayers. You can carry on enjoying refreshments throughout if you want to.

A special children's service when they are invited to help set the nativity scene under the altar as part of the service, retelling the story of the first Christmas. There will be Christmas hymns to sing (led on guitar), a Bible reading and prayers. All very welcome to come dressed as a character from the Nativity story!

Christmas Day Communion service

This family-friendly Christmas day worship service will have Christmas carols to sing, Bible readings, a sermon, prayers and the sharing of Holy Communion (Common Worship Order 1) for those used to taking the bread and wine in their home church. Gluten-free wafers are available on request. Everyone is welcome to come to the altar for a prayer of blessing if not taking Communion. Children can play with the toys and books on the carpeted area at the back of church (by the font) or in the pew, with your family. If children need to run around at the back of church, that is not a problem - we welcome families of all ages!
