RECTOR (DESIGNATE) at Sidmouth, St Giles and St NicholasThe Rt Revd Moira Astin, Bishop of Crediton, Patron, and Parish Representatives are pleased to announce that, subject to the completion of the statutory formalities, an offer has been made for the post of Rector (Designate) of the Proposed new Benefice of Sidmouth, St Giles and St Nicolas, part of the Sid Valley Mission Community, to Rev’d Victoria Chester, who is currently an Assistant Curate in the Benefice. Her licensing by the Bishop of Crediton will take place on Thursday, 12th March 2026, at 7.30pm. In preparation for this new stipendiary role, Victoria will be taking some leave from the beginning of January until March.
