St Mary's Belstone

"This is such a welcoming church!"  Yes, it is - we welcome visitors and locals alike to our services, events, as well as to our beautiful Church which is open every day (give the door a good shove).  If you time it right, you'll find yourself in a packed special service with a pony (or some sheep!).  We have a service here every Sunday at 9.30am, and are a good base to begin a walk (or swim) on the moor, adjacent to Belstone Tor and with views over Cosdon Beacon.

Please do contact Ruth Cartlidge, our administrator, on [email protected] or call 07551 655424 or 01837 53364 for more information, or with enquiries about any matters including baptisms and weddings. All are welcome.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Belstone: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Mrs Edwina Hill, 07967 179769] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
