Lent Lunches and Fundraising Coffee Morning & Sale

Lent

Can you support a special appeal which St Thomas of Canterbury Church, Kingswear, is taking part in to help local people with mental health needs?
From 2nd March until 26th April (Lent and Easter) all five churches of the Brixham Mission Community (BMC) including Kingswear, will be raising money for the Lupton Trust with collections in church. Funds raised will help to employ support staff for local people with mental health issues.
There will also be a fund-raising BMC Coffee Morning / Bring & Buy Sale at Lupton House on Monday March 7th (when Lupton House is otherwise closed to the public) to which everyone is invited, bringing as many friends and neighbours as possible! Cakes, plants and Bring & Buy can be delivered that morning after 9am.
Lupton House, on Brixham Road, Churston Ferrers, was bought by the Trust, restored largely by volunteers, and exists for local people. It is a growing Health & Wellbeing centre where people seek help and support.
