We are part of the community of Chelston, Torquay, and St Matthew's church building is centrally located at the top of Walnut Road, near the local shops. We are surrounded by green space and there is parking available on site. You can't miss the building - it's of beautiful red local stone, and is one of the most beautiful of Victorian churches. In fact it's renowned as being an 'architectural gem'. On Sundays there is an 8am and 9.30 church service. We also have toilet facilities and wheelchair access. Every month at 10am Saturday we have a coffee morning and jumble which is extremely popular and all are welcome. Every Wednesday at 1pm we have a small lunch discussion group - free hot drinks available and we are more than happy to share our sandwiches if anyone forgets their lunch! We look forward to seeing you. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected], or phone the Vicar, Rev Dave George on 07824 885561.
