While fully retaining its traditional look, our church was refurbished in 2012, giving us such desirable things as toilets and a warm church in winter! More importantly it has made it a very usable space, both for worship and for other activities for the church and the local community - the pews have been put on lockable wheels, which means that for special events they can be reoriented or moved out of the way.
The service pattern varies from week to week, so please click on the Services and Events tab for details.
We are part of the Dart Valley Mission Community, which also includes:
St Luke's, Buckfastleigh
St Matthew, Landscove
St Paul de Leon, Staverton
St George the Martyr, Dean Prior
St Petroc's, South Brent
Blessed Virgin Mary, Rattery.
The team rector for the whole mission community is Tom Benson - please see the "get in touch" page for details. He is assisted by a ministry team consisting of team vicar Gina Radford, curate Laura McAdam, retired priests George Day, John Summers and Peter Taylor, and three readers: Jenny Holton, David Harwood and Pam Saunders.
For more details, both of our church, and of the other churches, including a list of services in the current and following month, and full contact details, please see the mission community website, www.dartandavonmissioncommunity.org.uk
NB There is good parking available, but please note this is not at the entrance nearest to the village centre. Instead please drive round the road to the north of the church towards the tower end.
