Our Building

You are very welcome to come into our building to look around or for individual prayer. There is a visitor book for comments. Please observe the signs about the alarms.

Our church is Grade II* and you can find our more about it here https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1306828

Music and Worship

The Bell Tower was added to the church between 1400 and 1450 and the oldest bell, the tenor, was made by an Exeter foundry and dates from this time. The presumption must be made that a team of Bellringers has existed since that date!!
Currently the ringers meet to practise on a Wednesday evening. The team rings for all Services, Weddings and Funerals. In addition there are opportunities to ring in other Towers and to enter local competitions.
Everyone is welcome to come to learn or to join in with the team. Our Churchwarden will give you a contact name and telephone number.

The church has a fine organ that has been lovingly restored and maintained by the Jephcott family for several generations. Our previous patron, Sir Neil Jephcott Bt., was particularly supportive. In recognition of this, the church holds an annual Jephcott organ recital in his memory. For details of this year's recital go to https://www.eastportlemouth.org.uk/parish-church/jephcott-organ-recital

Many of our services follow the format of Common Worship, but we also hold regular services, such as Evensong, that follow the BCP format.
