Opening
The Church of St Sylvester's Chivelstone is now always open, the Restoration work is complete, do come and visit and see the medieval rood screen, carved pulpit and new found 18th century wall paintings, we look forward to welcoming many visitors in the future.
Getting here
From the local town of Kingsbridge take the A 379 towards Dartmouth, drive about six miles to the village of Frogmore, at the bottom of the village turn right over a little bridge signposted East Prawle, follow this road towards East Prawle, through Ford up the hill to Cousins Cross, through the cross towards Chivelstone and E. Prawle, until the next crossroads, Chivelstone Cross, turn right you will see St Sylvester's Church on the right and the Manor Pound car park on the left.
