Informal worship (Service of the Word) led by a music group and usually engaging the children if present as well as the adults. There will be communion if the date is a major church festival (e.g. Easter). On some occasions our informal worship is also changed to fit in with services as Harvest, Remembrance, Mothering Sunday etc. Refreshment are served after this service. Our communion service is led by the music group. Gluten-free communion wafers available on request. Post-Covid we have retained receiving communion at the altar rail by pre-intincted wafers placed into the hands. The Common Cup is available to those who remain at the altar rail. Refreshments are usually served after this service. On the fifth Sunday we offer prayers for healing after the service. A traditional language 'said' communion service based on the Book of Common Prayer. There is usually a psalm used between the readings and a short homily after the Gospel.
