Woolsery Churches Together Christmas Tree Festival 2026
Get creative, get festive and think green! We’re delighted to invite you to take part in the Woolsery Churches Together Christmas Tree Festival, taking place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December 2026.
Whether you’re representing a local business, organisation, community group or family, we’d love you to create a tree that brings a little festive magic to the festival!

Your Christmas Tree
Your tree can be real or artificial and can:
Showcase your organisation, business or group, follow a theme that means something to you, simply be beautifully and creatively decorated!
Artificial trees that come out year after year are, of course, a great example of reusing what we already have.
Could your tree have some extra eco sparkle?
We’re on our own Eco Journey and are hoping we may have achieved our Bronze Award by the time the festival arrives!
So this year, we’d love everyone to have a little think about their tree’s eco credentials. Could you think about our environment, sustainability, reduce, reuse, recycle or repurpose as part of your design, do you celebrate looking after the land and environment in your business/organisation?
Perhaps you could use:
decorations reused from previous years natural or locally sourced materials recycled or repurposed materials scraps of fabric, wool or ribbon energy-efficient lights decorations that can be reused, recycled or composted afterwards
If your business, organisation or family is already doing something to support sustainability or the environment, please tell us about it on the form. You might even want to make it part of your tree!
One little eco request: please avoid traditional glitter unless you are using an environmentally friendly alternative.
Setting Up Your Tree
Friday 11th December | 9.30am to 7.00pm
Your space will be clearly marked and ready for you to decorate.
And because Christmas tree decorating definitely requires refreshments, tea and coffee will be available for you to help yourself while you set up! We will provide a name sign for each participating business, organisation, group or family. You are very welcome to place business cards, leaflets or a short piece of information about what you do at the bottom of your tree for visitors to read.
A little extra festive cheer...
On Saturday evening, the Wreckers Choir will be filling the church with festive music at a special Christmas concert. Doors open to public: 6.00pm
Concert begins: 6.30pm
Refreshments will be served during the interval, with donations welcomed in support of a charity and Woolsery Churches Together.
Entering more than one tree?
If you coordinate more than one organisation or group and would like to enter several trees, please complete a separate registration form for each tree. This will help us make sure everyone has the right space and signage.
Taking Down Your Tree
We hope to keep the trees up until Wednesday after the Christmas Coffee Morning with the Woolsery Primary School children singing. So trees to be dismantled Wednesday afternoon/early evening. The church will be unmanned on Monday and Tuesday for people to come in and view.
