You are very welcome at our Advent and Christmas services and events – bring your family and friends or come along on your own. Whether it will be your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!

All events Calendar Advent & Christmas

Services of Morning Worship and Holy Communion are held on the 1st and 2nd Sundays from 9.30am. The first Sunday is usually the Woolsery Arising service, a lively 'All Age Worship' service that starts with coffee/tea and a bit of breakfast. The service often includes a drama performance as well as well-known songs and hymns, a short talk/discussion, an activity and a prayer. The service ends with coffee/tea and biscuits around 10.30am. We may have an organist or music by CD. Occasionally a celebration of Baptism may be included. On the 3rd and 4th, plus the occasional 5th Sunday, of the month, worship is held in the Chapel at 9.30am.

Woolsery Christingle

Woolsery Arising Christingle.
Starting at 9.30am with a welcome bacon buttie and a hot cup of welcome tea/coffee.
With welcome and lighting of advent candles, music, prayer, bible readings and drama play of 'A Bodged Christingle. Followed by a moment of stillness to enjoy the lighting of the Christingles around the church. Enjoy some favourite songs, and carols and finishing off with a hot drink and biscuit.

Christmas Carol Service

Join us for a joyful carol service in our beautiful candlelit church!
Come and enjoy the warmth of the season with uplifting readings and the chance to sing along to your favourite traditional carols.

Nativity in a Barn with Tractor Trailer ride

Come and celebrate the season with us at West Moor Farm for a heartwarming Nativity in a Barn!

Wrap up warm and enjoy a Tractor trailer ride from the Village Hall Car Park to the Farm, starting at 2:15pm, with the last run at 2:45pm.
If tractors rides aren’t your thing, car lift sharing is encouraged.

Christmas Coffee Morning

Join us for the annual Christmas coffee morning at All Hallows church, Woolsery where we welcome younger members of our community from Woolsery Primary School and Sunflowers to joyfully sing their Christmas songs to us all.
